Welcome to the Australian Government's new travel security website, which provides information on the security measures in place at Australian airports. Its purpose is to help travellers prepare for their journey and clear the security checks at the airport quickly and easily.

On 9 February 2010, the Australian Government announced a $200 million investment over four years to strengthen Australia's domestic and international aviation security.

If you plan to travel by air within Australia or internationally, you are encouraged to check this site regularly for an explanation of new security measures as they are introduced.
